The Chinese steel giant Baosteel has commissioned Mitsubishi Heavy Industries who is a Japanese multinational engineering, electrical equipment and electronics company to build 2030 mm cold rolling mill for expansion after ordering 2250mm hot strip mill and 2150 mm continuous slab caster for Zhanjiang project.This new cold rolling mill is based to design to produce annual production volumes at 2.2 million tons, including production of IF steel and high strength steel for usages in automobile and household appliances.
